What is an Exercise Physiologist?

Mental health conditions.
How can I book an appointment?
Booking an appointment with us is easy! You can schedule your visit online through our user-friendly booking system. Simply select your preferred service, choose a date and time that works for you, and complete your booking in just a few clicks. If you cannot find a time that works for you or need assistance, feel free to call our clinic at 0493 403 508 or fill in your details here and one of the team will be in touch.
What types of funding do you accept?
We understand that healthcare costs can be a concern, which is why we accept a variety of funding options including Health Funds, WorkCover, DVA, EPC/Medicare, NDIS, and Home Care Packages (HCP). Our team is here to help you navigate your funding options to ensure you receive the care you need.
Do I need a referral to see an Exercise Physiologist?
No, you do not need a referral to see an AEP for a private consultation. However, you will need a referral if you plan to claim rebates through a specific funding scheme, such as:
Medicare (via a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP)
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)
WorkCover or other third-party insurer.
Is Exercise Physiology covered by private health insurance?
Yes, most private health funds with Extras cover offer rebates for exercise physiology services. The amount you can claim will depend on your specific policy and annual limits. It's best to contact your health fund directly to confirm your eligibility and rebate amount before your appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that unexpected things come up. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client who may be on a waiting list. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at full rate.
