Privacy policy

This policy covers the website at https://www.gippslandwellnessco.com.au. Your clinical records and anything you tell us in an appointment are handled separately, under the health privacy obligations we work to as an allied health practice.

What we collect

If you fill in the contact form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, and whatever you write in the message. We also record the IP address the message came from and the time it was sent, which is how we tell real enquiries from automated spam.

If you don't use the form, this website doesn't ask you for anything.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. You won't be added to a mailing list because you sent us a message.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them, so that we have a record of what you asked and what we told you. If you want your enquiry deleted, ask us and we'll remove it.

Who else is involved

Running a website means a few other companies touch small parts of this, and here is the full list of the ones this site uses:

• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is filling in the contact form, and it doesn't follow you around other websites.
• SMTP2GO delivers the email your form submission becomes.
• Great South Land Design, who build and support this website, run an anti-spam service that scores form submissions. Messages held as spam are stored there so a person can check nothing real was caught by mistake.
• Google Maps supplies the map on our contact page. Loading that map means Google sees your IP address.
• Halaxy runs our online bookings. When you click Book Now you leave this website and land on theirs, and anything you enter there is covered by Halaxy's own privacy policy.
• Our web host stores standard server logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested.

Cookies

This site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile and the Google Maps embed may set their own cookies when those parts of the page load.

Getting in touch about your information

If you want to know what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email admin@gippslandwellnessco.com.au or ring the clinic on 0493 403 508. If you're not happy with how we handle it, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If this policy changes we'll update this page, which was last reviewed in October 2026.
